VICKS Won't Work This Time !

    Last month around April I found myself at DR. J's clinic ...I wasn't feeling to well. They took some blood and proceeded with lab work . Get a call from the NP that I had/ a low thyroid . A thyroid not working . What all does that mean ? Let me tell you friend ALOT!!  I am so thankful for Randy King @ the clinic . He changed my life for the better .
    I am one that thinks " PUT A LITTLE VICKS ON IT " and it will go away . I go see a Dr. maybe once a year . I see my OB/GYN once a year and that's it ! When Randy King described the symptoms I nearly fell out of my bed.( that's where I was not a chair )  " YES , YES,,,," ...I exclaimed as he named them . I started on the thyroid pills a month ago and just started my second round . Went back for my check up and it was around to a normal number. My nails are growing , my mood is better , my skin is not as dry . There are so many things I am feeling better on . I HAVE ENERGY!!!!  
     I found a website called THYROID SEXY ...actually I think it is a FB page and just  reading that and other web pages its incredible what a little gland can affect . Why did it take so long for someone to help me !! I promise to go to the DR. more often and not let Vicks do all the work !!!
    I 'm here to share and help others . If you have any of my symptoms: low energy , panic or stress attacks, dry brittle nails, dry skin ....go get your thyroid checked!!!!

   

I wanted to talk more about my last few months since February . This is including my mom' and my family dealing with CANCER . What an UGLY word !! This ugly word is the word you never want to hear coming from a dr's voice at any time . When the time comes and you are dealt this word with so much meaning you think you are the only one in the world dealing with it . Every day so many people are fighting this battle !! 

     Our days after finding out Mom had cancer of the gall bladder was like a whirlwind . I talked to my brother and sister before I put it on Facebook ...I wanted prayers,,,and advice. Then comes the part of finding out if a certain hospital or doctor who's been in charge of saving your life takes your insurance. REALLY? We are talking about a human life ...and they are telling me about policies!  All said and done we ended up @ Scott and White in Temple . God knew exactly what he was doing . We couldn't have asked for anything better when it came to the Dr. and the clinic. I highly recommend Scott and White . 

    A little over a month after the words " you have CANCER  were spoken  mom had major surgery and had all the lymph nodes and some of her liver removed. Couple of weeks later ...we were told we were cancer free . Our journey with this CANCER was done till our check up next year . 

    It seemed we spent the beginning of 2013 at doctor offices , clinics and hospitals. I also learned that there is no greater love than a families love . My mom had so much support and love from all her family...her husband, her kids, her sisters, her grandkids.... and the rest of her family from afar .  GOD IS GOOD!

 Here I am in case you have been wondering where I've been . Gee...its been since Oct. since I posted . I posted about HOMEMADE DETERGENT ! Well time  has passed and I am back to buying some high dollar Tide. Gee , I was really hoping the homemade stuff would work because I love saving money . I just remember washing a article of clothing and finding the stain still there and it grossed me out . So .... Back to the $$. 

     So back to the picture . In November I found myself becoming  a distributor or an consultant or whatever you want to call me for a company called Senegence. Basically I started selling LIPSTICK! 

 Never heard of it ??? Neither had I until that day I was scrolling through FB and I found a post on a clothing store . Pictured was a lady who sold LIPSTICK THAT STAYS ON FOR UP TO 18 HOURS!..HMMMM! I ordered me some , wore it and kept asking my husband if I still had lipstick on all day ...went to bed and the stuff was still on when I woke up . SOLD.... and I don't sell anything I don't believe in . So ... that is where I have been ! 
Selling Lipstick and here is a picture of me with some other gals in Sunny California...take that back it was cloudy most of the time we were there . I am on an ADVENTURE !! 
    Then in February I got a call from my mom feeling sick . She went to the ER...got sent to Abilene. They took her gall bladder out ...and we were blasted with the news she had cancer ! Now that is something that happens to others , right ? March 19th , lymph nodes and part of her liver were taken out in a major surgery in Temple . We are CANCER FREE and what a road that was. Temple's Scott and White was a God send and so was Dr. Larrimore. 
     I feel like its been a whirlwind ! Go out and have a great day and I promise I won't wait so long to get back . I have WAY TOO MUCH to talk about !!!  More later !! !
